Center Parcs has recognised the contribution of workplace equipment supplier Slingsby after presenting the company with an award.
Slingsby, which supplied an extensive range of products at Center Parcs’ new Woburn Forest Village, won a ‘Special Recognition Award’ for “exceeding expectations” to ensure work was completed on time and within budget.
As well as supplying products a the £250m ($400m, €317.6m) complex set in 362 acres of woodland, Slingsby managed the installation of almost three miles of shelving and racking in 70 separate back of house storage areas.
“From the outset, Slingsby quickly established a great understanding of our brief, as well as the challenges we faced in particular areas, and came up with a number of options and innovative solutions that were tailored to our individual requirements,” commented Mike Henderson, implementation manager at Center Parcs.
